I love sweaters, and this fall I have discovered a new love of sweaters with animals on them.  I keep joking that I could break out my clothes from elementary school and I would have a closet full of these.  The awesome sophisticated twist to a typically childish detail is really what I love about this trend.  I am on the hunt for a great vintage animal sweater but here are but these are a few of my favorite ones I've found online.  Do you love the animal sweater trend?

The fact the stripes are everywhere have made me a happy camper.  Tuesday's are usually pretty grim and the stripe on stripes plus a little leopard have made me smile a bit more.  I love the contrasting directions of the stripes and the pop of leopard to make it a little more fun.  Happy Tuesday :)

california love.

Though I stated a bit ago that I love fall and sweater weather, I forgot that the changing seasons means chilly temps.  I was/still am not totally prepared for that.  BUT luckily I got to escape the dipping east coast temperatures for a quick getaway to Orange County, California for a wedding with my boyfriend the last weekend of September.   I have always considered myself an east coast-er forever and always, but I am have been swayed after my trip.  The incredible weather, the friendly people, and the delicious cheeses, California has officially won me over.  

After waiting all summer to wear this dress the weather, venue, wedding, bride and groom, and my handsome date couldn't have been more perfect.  The wedding was beautiful, the food was delicious, and I literally had bruises on my feet from dancing so much.  So California, until we meet again :)
