Since I'm constantly running late, throwing a blazer over a comfy tee and grabbing the closet pair of heels is typically how my day goes. I've had this blazer for awhile and love the elbow patch detailing. My office is pretty casual, so this is what I am typically spotted in as I'm running out the door in the mornings.

After finding this awesome fabric moto jacket with faux leather trim at the local Target, I have just been dreaming of all the potential outfits it could go with. Since I constantly rotate my blazers to fight off the frostbite in my office, I knew I had to try to make it work appropriate. I love the edginess it adds to the otherwise most likely boring outfit.

So, something I haven't really shared is my love of a good bargain. These heels? $13. Midi dress? $12. This awesome faux leather jacket? $20. I don't know how I find some of the things I do, but I wont complain. I've been dying to wear this lanky midi dress that I scored at the end summer, but just couldn't find a way to style it. Then finally it came to me about pairing this jacket with it and I like the way it worked out. Now for the temps to rise a little bit so I can sport this outfit again.

I love tweed and love this tweed J.Crew skirt I acquired by doing a little swapping with my sister. A patterned/textured skirt is my favorite way to bring back to life an old top.
Though this weekend was beautiful, today has finally brought the freeze back to the area so I should probably grab some tights the next time I decide to sport this outfit.

It's cold out!

Since I have yet to find the fur vest of my dreams, I have to stick with this Patagonia down puffer vest. Darn.

But it's warm and cozy and has big enough pockets for my glove-less hands (I lose all my gloves) warm.

With the layering of the oxford and chambray I don't have to lug around a giant coat when I'm running errands.

A perfect casual slightly warm outfit for this chilly weather!
And these are probably my most comfortable shoes ever. I wear them almost everyday and super suggest a casual & comfy pair of booties that will go with anything.
