I wore this outfit to brunch with my mom and a friend the day after my birthday.

I am obsessed with the shape of this swing dress because it is beyond easy to wear. 
I have been wearing it non stop when the weather isn't plunging into the 30's.

It is the perfect fall/winter color but I know it will also transition into spring perfectly.

It is freezing!

The only thing I have been doing lately is layering up as much as possible.

I may start a trend of wearing 3 winter jackets at once... that is how cold I have been recently.

How many days until spring?!

27 is heaven.

This past weekend I celebrated my 27th birthday and I had the best celebration with most of my closest friends.
Because I was in denial of it actually being November I rented this dress last minute at the beginning of last week.
So glad I did because it fit perfectly and was such a fun shade.
I really had the best night and was so sad when it came to an end.
I can't to see what this year holds :)

oversized.

This past Sunday I made my way back to Middleburg for a much more relaxing day.   
I went to the film festival with my boyfriend and his parents(we saw a great Swedish film) sauntered over to the Boxwood Winery (they only serve reds!) for some cheese & wine, and then went to a fabulous dinner downtown.

This jacket I purchased at the end of last season from H&M and I am glad I did.  

It is warm and a totally different style than my other jackets in my wardrobe.

rural autumn.

One of the many things I love about where I love is the perfect location to so many different types of locations.
This past weekend, a group of friends and I drove about 40 minutes to the beautifully rural Middleburg to taste some wine.  The picturesque scenery gets me every time and makes me appreciate how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful place..
This is what I wore to be comfortable on the bus but warm enough when I had to be outside.
I can't believe it is November already!
